My 39 year old husband was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma of the lungs this past Feb. he was a smoker up until his diagnosis, his oncologist at The Cancer Treatment Center in Atlanta determined that his was not a result of smoking, although it did not help any. He has received 32 radiation treatments (once daily) and is returning for his 5th Chemo treatment, (once every 3 weeks) We have to wait 3 months before another scan can be done to determine if he has responded to treatment.
