Ayurveda is an ancient Indian system of medicine that uses natural herbs for the cure of various health issues. The herbal remedies provide the richness of herbs in a natural way. These herbs work to improve immunity and provide strength to the individual. These are 100% safe and natural and enhance the functioning of the body in a natural way. The ayurvedic medicines are playing a pivotal role in the treatment of lung cancer as well. As the conventional methods of lung cancer require one to be physically and emotionally strong, these ayurvedic herbs help one to recover easily.

Pippalyadi Ghrita or Pippalyadi-Ghrut is one such ayurvedic medicine used for lung cancer treatment. Pippali is also called long pepper and is the main ingredient. This ayurvedic medicine has ghee as its base and is prepared by boiling ghee with prescribed fine paste of herbs as per the formula. The key ingredients of this ayurvedic medicine include pippali long pepper, kantakari, kutki, sariva, amla, draksha, khas khas, ativisha, motha cyperus rotundus and water.

In addition to providing relief to lung cancer patients, it is also helpful in problems like low appetite, nausea, vomiting, cough and impaired digestion. The medicine is widely used in the treatment of fever and related diseases. As far as the dosage is concerned, it should be taken in doses of 10-20ml twice a day with milk or water.

Generally, there are no known side effects associated with Pippalyadi Ghrita. However, it is best to use this product under medical supervision. Self medication with this medicine is strictly discouraged. Also, those with diabetes, heart diseases or high BP should excise precaution. Very high dosage may cause diarrhea and indigestion.
