Tai Chi & Qi GongCancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. There have been many alternate lung cancer therapies that help to reduce symptoms of the disease. One of the popular among them is Tai Chi & Qi Gong. It helps one to better cope up with the disease as well as the treatment-related symptoms. It aims at quantitatively evaluating the effects of cancer so as to offer health-related benefits to the cancer patients.

As one undergoes the lung cancer treatment, there occur several physical and psychological effects. Tai chi & Qi Gong offers positive effects on the cancer-specific fatigue, immune function and cortical level of cancer patients. The benefits of tai chi & Qi Gong on body and mind are multifaceted and help one to improve sleep and quality of life. It works to boost immunity and bone mineral density. In addition, it also strengthens physical functioning and improves blood pressure and cholesterol levels as well.

Tai chi & Qi Gong has proven to be helpful for patients with lung cancer as it supports the organs that are most affected by cancer. It works to increase the human immunity against tumor formation. The researchers have also found that tai chi helps to balance cellular immunity and thus, increase the immunity against lung cancer.

The tai chi practitioners gather anywhere indoors or outdoors to flow through a sequence of movements that bring balance. It works to offer inner peace. Tai chi is an ancient martial art which is practiced with internal power. It involves circular movements practiced mindfully and with a special focus on inner peace. Tai chi is beneficial for anyone affected by cancer as it helps to teach patients to respond mindfully to forces which are out of their control.
